The HAIR TO SHARE FOUNDATION provides the funds for a new, comfortable, custom-fitted wig that bolster self-confidence and self-esteem in individuals who are battling serious illness with medically induced hair loss.
Statement of Need
The HAIR TO SHARE FOUNDATION raises and provides funds for new, custom-fitted wigs for individuals going through sudden, medically induced hair loss. Foundation funds cover the cost for recipients who lack the specific insurance coverage or financial resources to afford this expense. All associated wig care products, education and support are included. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation serving central New Jersey.
Vision Statement
As a cornerstone of community support, the HAIR TO SHARE FOUNDATION provides funds for a custom wig and related resources to children and adults throughout central New Jersey, helping them to persevere in their efforts to beat life-threatening illnesses. Individuals will feel confident in their appearance and will know that the community cares about them as they combat their illnesses.
